Recognition of Exams and Industry Certificates
We believe that many of you partly received education at other higher education institutions. We recognise your every knowledge which is connected to our study programme. This means your legitimate knowledge and skills acquired in formal and informal education provided they are commensurate with the structure and content of our study programme, will be acknowledged.
Through the process of course acknowledgement/equivalency, the Commissions for equivalency decide on the extent to which your knowledge meets the contents in our study programme. With 80 percent + course match, the whole exam is acknowledged and the mark is copied. So as to appreciate your knowledge even if you don’t meet the conditions for the complete course equivalency, we do partial equivalency even if the courses don’t match in the range from 50 % to 80%. In that scenario only specific (non-recognised) parts of the exam are taken, not the whole exam.
Owners of the legitimate Cisco industry certificate have 4 courses acknowledged, which are incorporated into Engineering Informatics programme according to Cisco Networking Technologies programme (CCNA programme).
